She came from Tokyo. She had very big supraclavicular lymphangioma.
But, her lymphangioma was disappeared by three OK-432 injections. She was treated as an out patient.
I had consultaion from her 3.5 months
before she came to me. Left was the pictutre of first consultation. One
month before the first consultation, her right lower neck began to
swell.
At first, she went to her family doctor. The doctor punctured her
swelling. Yellowish serous fluid was aspirated. Then, she was sent to a
surgeon. She had some examinations, the conclusion
was follow up. When I first consulted, I answerd that
lymphangioma was most suspicious and OK-432 must be the best
treatment. One and a haft months after, the central picture was
sent. She went many hospitals at Tokyo. All doctor said that surgery is
only treatment. After that, she went another hospitals. But, there was
no doctor who showed therapy other than surgery. So, she came to me 3.5
months after the first consultation.
These are her MRI of T2 weighted image. By
this codition, fluid collection is clearly recognized. White areas were
fluid collection (lymphoma). Right was cyst fluid. Yellowish serous fluid and there were many lymphocytes in it.
This is the first OK-432 treatment. 1.5 KE
of OK-432 was injected. But, on the next day, there was almost no
increasesed swelling and redness. This means poor response. 6 months
later, the effect was insufficient.
15 months after the first treatment, the
second treatment was performed. This time, however the distance from my
clinic to her living place was almost 300 miles, I treated her one day
around trip. Also this time, 1.5 KE of OK-432 was injected. The next
day, her lymphangioma was swollen and reddened. This was very good
response. 1 week after treatment, her lymphangioma was hardly swollen.
This was also very good response. 2 weeks after treatment, her
lymphangioma began to shrink. 6 weeks after, her right neck swelling
became very small. The dose used was 1.5 KE. This was the same as that
of the first treatment. This therapy is a inflammatory reaction of
patient to penicillin killed bacteria (OK-432). This is immune
reaction. So, the reaction of the second treatment usually strong if
the dose of OK-432 used was same.
The swelling after the second treatment
was very small. But, by MRI, there was definitely fluid collection. So,
the third OK-432 treatment was performed 16 weeks after OK-432
injection. The next day, her lymphangioma was swollen and reddened. This was very
good response. 1 week after treatment, her lymphangioma was hardly
swollen. 2 weeks after treatment, her
lymphangioma began to shrink. 6 weeks after, her right neck swelling was completely disappeared.
